On behalf of my wife Helga, our son Stephan, Christine and myself, I must thank everyone for the tremendous outpour of good wishes, hope, offer of assistance, letters, cards and the hundreds of e-mails and calls. It is almost impossible to answer you all individually at this moment, but we will do so in the near future.

We, as the family will any effort to have Ralph remembered to the wonderful son and brother, nephew, cousin and friend he was.

We will never forget him and are so appreciative of his last call and his last visit in Canada over the Labor Day Weekend.

I promised my wife to never ever criticize our phone bill for making daily calls to our children. In hindsight they are most likely some of the best dollars spent.

If you feel inclined to send flowers, please do not, we are setting up a fund in Ralph’s name and any monies raised will be given in total to a as yet to be named charity.

Ralph leaving us at such a young age, which one never can accept, we take solace in your friendship with Ralph. He had such a short life but it was filled with joy and many of the good things life offers us, yet he never took it for granted.
